The Sights and Sounds of Spain

Spain is one of Europe’s most distinct countries.  Its culture and influence seeps well into history.  From North America, South America, even in Asia, Spanish influence is still alive and kicking.  Now you can travel to the place where it all started, and see for yourself what makes Spain one of the most beautiful countries in the world.

Costa del Sol (which translates to “Sun Coast” or “Coast of the Sun”) is one of Spain’s most ideal places to visit.  The city is overflowing with exotic atmosphere and sights not seen anywhere else.  It is comprised of coastal towns, resorts, and romantic sceneries all bordering the exquisite Mediterranean coastline.

La Casa de Angel is a wonderful restaurant-gallery run and owned by the Spanish comedian Angel Caro.  The menu consists of home cooked Spanish meals with hints of an Arabic heritage.  While dining, you will also be enthralled at Casa Angel’s extraordinary collection of paintings numbering over 100 works (some dating back to the 16th century).  And they’re not just some run of the mill paintings, these pieces are done by

masters such as Picasso, Miro, and Dali.

Situated in the Costa del Sol region is Málaga. The inner city of Málaga is just behind the harbour. The quarters of El Perchel, La Trinidad and Lagunillas surround this centre.  It is clearly an exciting tourist center.

Of course, there is Barcelona.  The city is the beating heart of Spanish culture.  Here you can visit plenty of historical sites such as Sagrada Familia, which has been under construction since 1882 due to its impressive and intricate details.  There is also the Pobre Espanol where you can see firsthand how walking around a typical Spanish village feels.  You can also avail of some authentic Spanish memorabilia from its many craft workshops.
